“Lewis joined me for a short period at the end of 2023 as a programme assistant on a regional BBC afternoon show. He was very personable and fitted in quickly with an extremely busy production team. He was quick to understand what was required and his work was thorough & of a high standard. He had great interpersonal skills and was happy setting up guests and editing audio for broadcast. His audio editing skills were of a very high quality and I was happy to leave him in charge of various items for the show. When we were live on air in the studio, he was a calm and competent pair of hands. He was confident in liaising with guests and other colleagues in order to get material ready for air and re-versioning interviews for repeat broadcast later in the program. He worked quickly and accurately. Over the Christmas period he stepped in to cover for regular staff when they were on leave as part of the cover team. I’d welcome the chance to work with Lewis again at some point.”
